Literacy is key to our children’s future and the success of our communities. MPS is making significant changes, investing in teachers’ professional training with effective, standardized methods to address disparities in reading achievement.
Families are encouraged to check out a series of literacy resource videos that provide quick tips and strategies to help children build their literacy skills and prepare for kindergarten. The activities require no special tools; they are just fun games to play and enjoy with your young child.
The short videos below can be changed to Spanish or Somali by changing the subtitles/closed caption language on the settings gear.
