Hmong International Academy (HIA) is a Hmong culturally specific school with grades Pre K-Grade 5. Students have daily opportunities to engage in activities that enhance their understanding of the Hmong culture and language. At HIA, we have a 50% One-Way Dual Language Program that offers Grade Kindergarten through 5th grade 120 minutes of Hmong literacy per day. We are a proud Northside school!

HIA SIP Goals 2021-22
Math: The percentage of students in K-1 who are proficient or exceeding in Structuring Numbers will increase from 25% to at least 33% by Spring of 2022 as measured by FAST KCOM and COM assessments.
Reading: The percentage of students in K-1 who are proficient or exceeding in early literacy skills will increase from 25% to at least 33% by Spring of 2022 as measured by FAST eReading assessment.
